Insurance information I’ve learned along the way. Some of the information is a result of my years as a Commercial Insurance broker and some of the information here is the result of research.

I am no longer a practicing insurance broker. I left the insurance field to become a full-time freelance writer. Therefore, please do your own research to find the answer to some of your burning insurance questions. Use the information here as just one source in your quest to find the right answer.

The insurance industry is always changing, so be mindful of the post dates. What was true 3 years ago, may not be the case today.

Just an observation:  Many of the posts on this site are articles I originally wrote when I was an Insurance Feature/Contributing writer for Suite 101. I have since left Suite 101 and have taken my articles with me.  As the author and owner of these articles I can place them where I see fit.

I’ve become painfully aware that many unscrupulous bloggers have plagiarized my work. If you see the articles I have posted here on other sites it is because my articles were copied without my permission.  All content on this site is original and written by me unless otherwise noted.
